I’m officially through week 2 of carnivore-ish, AKA, protein January. I’m still feeling good! I’ve been working out since day 6 so I’m proud of myself for that- it’s been a while since I’ve been in a legitimate habit of working out. Oddly enough, I’ve also been working out in the mornings for the most part and my motivation during them amazing!
Some Things I Ate During Week 2 of Carnivore-ish

- Egg bites (Once Upon a Chef recipe)
- Bacon
- Ribeye roast
- Beef jerky
- Buffalo chicken dip with pork rinds
- Ribeye steak
- Deviled eggs with bacon
- Grilled filets from Chick-fil-A
- Bone-in chicken thighs
Perhaps a little TMI, but I got my period on Day 15, and usually I am a garbage disposal the week before/few days leading up to the start of my cycle. The days leading up to it this month were in week 2 and I am happy to report that I did not in fact, want or feel the need to consume everything in sight. My hunger levels were normal as far as I’m concerned, which makes me feel so good. If you know, you know. I don’t see myself living a carnivore lifestyle past January but I am feeling really good and I’m very proud of myself for evening making it past the first two weeks.
